First, we pressure wash your deck with heated water, then scrape away any loose coatings, and scrub the deck with special bio-degradable cleaners.

Stains and loose debris get removed completely, but the pressure washing also increases moisture levels in the wood.

Unfortunately, many discount painters do not take time to let the deck dry, and instead paint or stain the deck too soon. And this is disastrous to the longevity of your deck’s finish.

At Rubicon Painting & Drywall we are in no hurry. We will return in 2-3 weeks and test the moisture content on many areas of the deck with a computer sensor.

Once dry, we apply your choice of transparent, semi-transparent, or even-solid color finishes to make sure you get the look you’re after.
